will go forward as long as time shall last." 1SM55
Thus saith the Lord?

Thus saith the Lord?
The Lord saith that Ellen is dead and her writings are in thrift shops
next to books such as "The Crash of '79" and "The 1980's: Countdown to
Armageddon" and "Y2K & The Antichrist"

Dear brethrens,
Is there any place that says Ellen G. White was the last prophet?
It was implied when Ellen White said the end would be a matter of
months.
She never said that the end would be "a matter of months."
On June 27, 1850, Mrs. White wrote that only a few months remained for
the people to get ready: "My accompanying angel said, 'Time is almost
finished. Get ready, get ready, get ready.' . . . now time is almost
finished. . . and what we have been years learning, they will have to
learn in a few months." (Early Writings, pp. 64-67).
As Andrew said, the inspired writings of Ellen White, inspired in the same
way as the Bible (see below) is, don't say the end would be "a matter of
months." They say "in a few months."

"We believe that Ellen White was inspired by the Holy Spirit and that her
writings, the product of that inspiration, are applicable and authoritative,
especially to Seventh-day Adventists. ... We do not believe that the quality
or degree of inspiration in the writings of Ellen White is different from
that of Scripture." - http://www.whiteestate.org/issues/scripsda.html

God bless,
Stephen

Were the early catholic writings inspired? How about Vatican I & II?
What of the saints of the church?

Who are you to decide who god inspires?

He is one who follows biblical teaching.

1 Th 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit; 20 do not despise prophetic
utterances.
21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good;

We are instructed to basically follow the Berean example.
Ac 17:11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for
they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily
to see whether these things were so.
Adventists love to quote 1 Th 5:20, but ignore the responsibility given in
verse 21. How else do you explain Adventists in this ng defending Mrs.
White on amalgamation, masturbation, wigs, foods, doctrine, etc.

• Mrs. White was undoubtedly right about masturbation causing
near-sightedness because she was myopic.

It also seemed to affect her "Visions"
• more likely it was the brain injury.
